Moto G7 Play, Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7 Power launched, price starts at around Rs 12,000

The seventh-generation Moto G line-up is official

The seventh-generation Moto G line-up is official. Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility launched the 2019 Moto G7-series at a keynote event in Brazil on Thursday. In line with all the leaks and rumours heading to D-day, the Moto G7-series, does consist of four new models, the affordable Moto G7 Play, the battery-focused Moto G7 Power and the premiere Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus. 

The Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7, as previously speculated, are the most premium models in the series with a glass body, dual rear cameras and a teardrop-style notch, while the Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power are relatively more affordable offerings with single rear cameras and an iPhone X-style notch.    

Moto G7 Plus 

The Moto G7 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch 1080p+ LCD display with a teardrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Pie software and packs a 3,000mAh battery with 27W TurboPower charging support which is claimed to offer 12 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging. The phone also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and comes with stereo speakers with Dolby audio certification. 

On to cameras, the Moto G7 Plus sports dual camera system on the rear consisting of one 16MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS, and another 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Moto G7 Plus comes with a 12MP camera that can also shoot software-assisted portrait selfies.  

The Moto G7 Plus will be available in Europe starting mid-February at a price of Euros 300 (roughly Rs 24,2890). It will be available in Deep Indigo and Viva Red colours.

Moto G7 

The vanilla Moto G7 comes with a 6.2-inch 1080p+ LCD display with a teardrop notch, much like the Plus model. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Pie software and packs a 3,000mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging support which is claimed to offer 9 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging. 

On to cameras, the Moto G7 sports a dual camera system on the rear consisting of one 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and another 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Moto G7 comes with an 8MP camera that can also shoot software-assisted portrait selfies.  

The Moto G7 Plus will be available in Europe starting mid-February at a price of Euros 250 (roughly Rs 20,243). It will be available in Ceramic Black and Clear White colours.

Moto G7 Power 

The battery-focused Moto G7 Power comes with a 6.2-inch 720p+ LCD display with an iPhone X-style notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Pie software and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging support which is claimed to offer 9 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging. The battery inside the Moto G7 Power is rated to deliver up to 2.5 days of usage on single charge 

On to cameras, the Moto G7 Power sports a 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front. 

The Moto G7 Power will be available in Europe starting mid-February at a price of Euros 210 (roughly Rs 17,000). It will be available in Ceramic Black, Marine Blue and Iced Violet colours.

Moto G7 Play 

Lastly, the Moto G7 Play comes with a 5.7-inch 720p+ display with an iPhone X-style notch, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable), Android Pie software, a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery with standard 5W charging.  

The Moto G7 Play will be available in Europe starting mid-February at a price of Euros 150 (roughly Rs 12,147). It will be available in Deep Indigo and Fine Gold colours.
