The vanilla Moto G8 has leaked online courtesy Evan Blass. And going by the tipster’s track record, we might just be looking at the real deal. We still don’t know a lot about the phone’s specs, but a promotional video shared by Blass reveals the full design of the alleged Moto G8 – leaving nothing to the imagination.

Motorola has already launched the Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play and the Moto G8 should be just around the corner – as is usually the norm. And by the looks of it the Moto G8 won’t look very different from the Moto G8 Plus or the Moto G8 Play. The Moto G8 Plus, which is the most premium of the lot, has a plastic body (with a glossy design), so ideally the Moto G8 should offer the same build materials as well. In the promo video, the phone’s seen in three colours – red, black and blue.

On the back, there’s a triple camera setup with what appears to be a 48MP main sensor. On the front, the phone has a waterdrop-style notch like the Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play. More details, including hardware specifics, are awaited.

Of the Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play, only the former has been launched in India for now. The Moto G8 Plus comes with a 6.3-inch 1080p+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual SIM phone runs near stock Android 9 Pie software out-of-the-box. The Moto G8 Plus is further backed by a 4,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.

On to the cameras, the Moto G8 Plus comes with three rear cameras – a 48MP main camera, a 16MP ultrawide-angle camera and a 5MP depth camera. On the front, the Moto G8 Plus comes with a 25MP selfie camera.

The Moto G8 Plus has been launched in India at a competitive price of Rs 13,999 for the sole variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
