Airtel has launched a new plan for its prepaid customers in India. This new Airtel plan comes at the price of Rs 299. It comes with the validity of 28 days.

Airtel has launched a new plan for its prepaid customers in India. This new Airtel plan comes at the price of Rs 299. It comes with the validity of 28 days. So now let's talk about all the benefits this new Airtel Rs 299 plan has to offer. As far as 4G data benefits are concerned, it provides users with 2.5GB daily 4G data.

Since Airtel Rs 299 plan is valid for 28 days, users end up availing a total of 70GB data throughout a stipulated period, with the cost per GB of Rs 4.27. Apart from data benefits, other benefits include free, unlimited voice calls and daily 100 SMS. The plan also includes complimentary access to Amazon Prime membership for 28 days.

Airtel also revamped its customer programme 'Airtel Thanks', with some more benefits and offers for its users.

"The new program is tiered in its offering  Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each tier opens a whole new set of benefits for Airtel customers. The benefits are powered by Airtel's strong partnerships, which go from premium content brands like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Zee5 to Wynk music...," Airtel said in a statement.

The programme benefits entail a minimum commitment of Rs 119, and the gateway for availing the benefits is the Airtel app, which has now been re-named 'Airtel Thanks'.

In the three-tiered structure, Silver tier will provide access to basic content - AirtelTV, Wynk. With Gold, customers get access to add on telecom benefits, and value access on premium content or financial services. The top-rung Platinum tier will give customers access to premium content, e-books, device protection, and invites and priority access to events, the statement added.

Recently, Airtel just announced its own video-streaming platform Wynk Tube that lets users stream music videos. Wynk Tube app as already crossed 50,000 installs on Google Play Store.
