The Nokia 5.1 Plus that can now be upgraded to Android 9.0 (Pie) is now available to buy at an official discount of Rs 1750. This is applicable to the 3 GB RAM edition of the smartphone.

This means that the Nokia 5.1 Plus should be available for Rs 8849 practically. The discount is via the official promo codes that are now being offered by HMD Global; which states that prospective buyers could use the promo code DEAL1750 to avail the Rs 1750 discount on the Nokia 5.1 Plus which is a mid-range phone.

The off-promo price of the Nokia 5.1 Plus (3B edition) is Rs 10599, and hence it seemingly makes sense to avail the promo code; the smartphone could be purchased online (with the promo code discount offer) via the official Nokia eStore. The outer colour variants under this scheme are Blue and Black respectively.

USP of the Nokia 5.1 Plus, apart from its Nokia branding, is its Android One platform which means that all latest Google operating system (OS) variants would automatically be made available to the smartphone.

At this point in time, it is worth looking back at the key technical specifications of the Nokia 5.1 mid-range smartphone:
