Nokia 9 PureView Release In India Rumoured To Take Place on 6 June

The Nokia 9 PureView India release is now a reality and the device now looks set to be released on 6 June in the country. The Nokia 9 PureView with its 5 rear camera setup arranged in a  circular fashion is even rumoured to be launched along with another Nokia handset.  

Now, as per rumour mills, the 5 camera Nokia 9 PureView would be the smartphone whose details would be made public during an event that HMD Global would hold on 6 June in New Delhi. However, the Nokia 9 PureView has not been officially hinted at as far as this event is concerned. But speculations are intensely rife about the 5 rear camera smartphone, launched during the Mobile World congress (MWC) this year, officially coming to the market shelves. In this regard, Nokia loyalists could wait a tad for official updates concerning the release of the Nokia 9 PureView- till 6 June.  

As far as the pricing of the Nokia 9 is concerned the smartphone could have a premium pricing on the lines of that of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The smartphone’s Android One platform – that guarantees the latest Google operating system (OS) versions, is also a USP of the Nokia 9 PureView along with its 5 rear camera setup. The smartphone comes with key technical specifications such as: 

• 5.99-inch display having resolutions of 1440 x 2880 pixels with approximately 538 ppi pixel density 
• Android One platform; currently running Android 9.0 (Pie) 
• Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC 
• Adreno 630 GPU unit 
• 5 12MP rear cameras 
• 20 MP front snapper 
• 6 GB RAM 
• 128 GB fixed internal storage 
• LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 connectivity 
• 3320 mAh fixed Lithium-Ion battery. 

At this point in time, the Indian market is fresh off from taking in the OnePlus 7 Pro which has a starting price of Rs 49000. The Nokia 9 PureView, in case official on 6 June, should do well to compete with the OnePlus 7 Pro.
