Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone is now official in the Indian market, as expected. The main attraction of this handset is that it’s aimed at mobile gamers. From the looks as well as its design, the handset seems to have more or less everything that’s required to stand out in the emerging gaming smartphones space.

The gaming smartphones industry, as a whole, is currently in its nascent stage. Plus, there are only quite a few phones falling under this bit right now. Taiwanese brand Asus previously introducing its ROG gaming phone in India at Rs 69,999. The Nubia Red Magic, however, certainly won’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Nubia Red Magic costs Rs 29,999. It wil be available to buy exclusively via Amazon starting 12 am IST (Midnight) on 20th December. In the Chinese market, however, Nubia Red Magic starts at 2,499 yuan (roughly Rs. 25,400) for 6 gigs RAM/ 64 gigs storage and goes all the way up 2,999 yuan (Rs 30,500) for 8 gigs RAM and 128 gigs storage.

Design-wise, Nubia Red Magic shows off an RGB strip. The handset bundles with proprietary software called GameBoost to fine-tune your gaming experience. It weighs in at 185g and measures 9.5mm in thickness.

Specs-wise, Nubia Red Magic runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a 5.99-inch 1080p display. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. The handset comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Nubia Red Magic houses a single 24MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 4K video recording support at 30 frames per second (fps). Up front is an 8MP selfie camera. It packs a 3,800mAh battery under the hood.
