At this point, we certainly think it's becoming more and more difficult to buy a OnePlus device the moment it launches lest we miss out on the more exciting variant that may follow swiftly after! OnePlus 6T was launched right after the launch of OnePlus 6 and now going by the speculations, the all-new OnePlus 6T may soon come in a Thunder Purple variant.

In what appears to be promo teasers, the unconfirmed OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple recently appeared on a blog Mr. Gizmo in all its glory! Although it looks stunning from the images, it's still not confirmed whether OnePlus will actually launch this new variant. But we have seen enough leaks becoming reality in order to believe that a thunder purple OnePlus6T could very well be a reality.

Earlier, a report had suggested that OnePlus could be planning to announce a new Purple colour variant for its latest flagship. And according to other reports, OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant was briefly available on Amazon Germany website for pre-order. In fact, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant was also said to have been mentioned on the official support page. Going by these reports, we can soon expect to see OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple become official.

OnePlus 6T became official late last week and to everyone’s surprise, it was announced only in two colours to begin with: Mirror Black and Midnight Black. It has three memory configurations to offer 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB internal storage. The base variant is available only in Mirror Black whereas the other two variants are available in both Mirror Black and Midnight Black options.

OnePlus 6T packs in all the bells and whistles you’d normally expect in a flagship smartphone. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics. It makes room for a 3,700mAh battery under the hood, which is bigger than that of OnePlus 6. It features a new, waterdrop notch design above the screen and in-display fingerprint reader, which is kind of a bold decision.

You get a bigger, 6.41 inches 1080p display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Bezels have gotten relatively smaller, resulting in more screen real-estate to consume content. For shutterbugs, you get a 16MP primary sensor for optical and electronic image stabilisation, along with a 20MP depth-sensor for bokeh effect. Up front, you get a 16MP secondary camera for selfies and video calls.

OnePlus 6T starts at Rs 37,999 for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and goes all the way up to Rs 45,999 for 256GB storage. There’s a middle variant as well with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 41,999.
