Oppo A9 launched with 6.53-inch waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras and 4,020mAh battery

Days after launching the flagship Reno and Reno 10x Zoom Edition, Oppo has launched a new mid-range phone called the Oppo A9 in China. The Oppo A9 boasts of Oppo’s distinct gradient style with a waterdrop-style notch, a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, dual rear cameras and a massive 4,020mAh battery. Oppo has launched the Oppo A9 in China at a price of CNY 1,799 which roughly translates to Rs 18,700 – this is for the version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. 

Speaking of specs, the Oppo A9 comes with a 6.53-inch 1080p+ display with a waterdrop notch – Oppo claims the Oppo A9 has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 per cent. The phone is powered by a Helio P70 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6. It packs a 4,020mAh battery on the inside. 

On to the optics, the Oppo A9 comes with dual rear cameras consisting of one 16MP camera and another 2MP camera for portrait photography. On the front, the Oppo A9 comes with a 16MP camera. 

The Oppo A9 has a 3D gradient design scheme and will be available in green, white and purple hues. There’s a fingerprint scanner on the back and micro-USB port for charging and data syncing.  

In other news, Oppo is gearing to launch the Marvel's Avengers Limited Edition Oppo F11 Pro in India. The Marvel's Avengers Limited Edition Oppo F11 Pro will be a limited-edition product with a custom Avengers-style back – and it will come with exclusive collectible accessories in the box. Under the hood, the Marvel's Avengers Limited Edition Oppo F11 Pro will pack the same hardware specs as the regular Oppo F11 Pro.  

Which means that the Marvel's Avengers Limited Edition Oppo F11 Pro will also come with a 6.5-inch 1080p+ display without any notch or cutout, a Helio P70 processor, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras consisting of a 48MP+5MP setup, 16MP pop-up selfie camera, and 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 flash charge. One difference will be that the Marvel's Avengers Limited Edition Oppo F11 Pro will come with 128GB storage – the regular Oppo F11 Pro comes with 64gB storage in India.
