The Realme 2 Pro has received a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000, in time of Realme 3 Pro India launch. The Realme 2 Pro, to recall, was launched in September last year in 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage variants at Rs 13,990, Rs 15,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively. All the variants of the phone had received a price cut of Rs 1,000 in February – and now with a fresh Rs 1,000 price drop, the Realme 2 Pro will sell for Rs 11,990, 13,990 and Rs 15,990 respectively.

The Realme 2 Pro has been quite popular in India – with 8GB RAM under Rs 20,000 as one of its key highlights. With Realme now prepping a Realme 3 Pro, the revised prices are not that surprising. Realme has been in the habit of keeping its older phones alive even after launching a successor, so something similar will be expected from the Realme 2 Pro as well.

Realme will launch the Realme 3 Pro in India in April to take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Oppo spinoff brand had announced in March during the launch of the Realme 3. No further details were shared although a new report has tipped a couple of key hardware specs including processor and camera – as also the possible launch timeline of the Realme 3 Pro.

According to the leak, the Realme 3 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with 4GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB configurations. The leak further suggested that the Realme 3 Pro will come with a Sony IMX519 sensor – which is the same imaging sensor found in the OnePlus 6T.

Lastly, the leak also said that the Realme 3 Pro will support VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology – which is also found in the Oppo F11 Pro.

Realme has already confirmed that it will launch the Realme 3 Pro in April and the company has already started teasing the launch on social media – although an exact date of launch is yet to be revealed.
