Chinese smartphone maker Realme is all set to expand its smartphones portfolio today. Realme 3 launch in India is set for today (March 4). The company has scheduled a press event in New Delhi. Realme 3 will be successor to last year's Realme 3. However, the company is also expected to announce the Realme 2 successor in the form of Realme 3 Pro during the event.

Realme 3 is likely to feature MediaTek Helio P70 under the hood, based on 12nm FinFET production process. The company has also confirmed the presence of a dual-camera setup. Speculation has it that Realme 3 will sport a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Realme 3 is expected to provide users with two variants. With the new offerings, Realme is likely to compete with Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro.

For those who cannot be physically present at the event, Realme is hosting the livestream of the entire Realme 3 launch event. Realme 3 launch event off Monday, March 4 at 12:30 PM IST in New Delhi.

Realme 3 price in India, specifications (expected)

Realme 3 will be up for grabs exclusively on Flipkart. The e-commerce listing confirms the presence of a 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 chip on Realme 3. The new model will feature a waterdrop notch blending into the display.

Realme 3 is confirmed feature a 4,230mAh battery, which is bigger than Redmi Note's 4,000mAh battery.

The official teaser posted on Realme's social media channels confirmed that it will have dual rear cameras to offer. The handset is also expected to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, as mentioned before. Support for Bluetooth 4.2 could also be on the cards.

Realme is likely to announce the launch of Realme 3 Pro alongside the Realme 3. Although we don't know the price yet, Flipkart listing mentions it will come at an "unbelievable price." We are expecting the handset to be priced under Rs 12,000.
