Realme will launch the Realme 3 Pro in India in April to take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Oppo spinoff brand had announced in March during the launch of the Realme 3. No further details were shared although Realme did say that the Realme 3 Pro will be a fast phone with speed being one of its key highlights. A new report, citing unnamed sources and analysts, tips a couple of key hardware specs including processor and camera – as also the possible launch timeline of the Realme 3 Pro.

According to the leak, the Realme 3 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor – a processor that should make the Realme 3 stand toe-to-toe with the Redmi Note 7 Pro in terms of power and efficiency. The Realme 3 Po is further said to come in 4GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB configurations – possibly with Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 software.

In the presentation slide shown off by Realme at its Realme 3 press event, the company sort of recapped all the specs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro – primarily its 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor. Even as it stayed mum about the Realme 3 Pro. Leading many to speculate if the Realme 3 Pro will also come with a 48MP main camera (even though Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth has already denied that).

The leak suggests that the Realme 3 Pro will come with a Sony IMX519 sensor – which is the same imaging sensor found in the OnePlus 6T.

Lastly, the leak also suggests that the Realme 3 will pack VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology – the same fast charging tech found in the Oppo F11 Pro. Now the Realme 3 Pro is expected to cost South of Rs 20,000 which means it could be the most affordable phone with VOOC 3.0 should the leak come out to be true in the days to come.

Realme has already confirmed that it will launch the Realme 3 Pro in April and the company has already started teasing the launch on social media – although an exact date of launch is yet to be revealed. The leak suggests Realme will launch the Realme 3 Pro in India in the third week of April.
