Realme 5 getting new OTA update for fixes , check out now

If you are a user of the Realme 5 mid-range smartphones, then do check for a new update that would seed via the over-the-air (OTA). This OTA update comes with some major changes. Check out the newer enhancements, now.  

New enhancements

At this point in time, this latest update to Realme 5 bears version number RMX1911_11_A.15. It offers newer enhancements such as fixes to the issue about non-calibration of the compass. Then, the video call quality with respect to telecom operators is also said to be enhanced.  

Then, there are the usual system enhancements. These changes are seeding with the new update to Realme 5. The rollout is also a staged one. Hence, it could take time for the rollout of the update to seed to all Realme 5 smartphones. You could also manually check for the new update by navigating to Settings > Updates > Check for updates. “The OTA will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days,” states Realme in an official blog post. In related news, the Realme X is also getting a new update that bears version number RMX1901EX_11.A.08. Key enhancements of this new update are: 

• Incorporation of the manual lock feature by long-press the power button   
• Displaying the data consumed by connected devices   
• Data consumed reminder could be customized   
• Screen on time would now be displayed   
• Google Digital Wellbeing incorporated   
• Incorporation of date and weather widget   
• Smart Assistant interface optimized   
• Modification in the notification centre style   
• Users could swipe left or right to eliminate the message prompt, once the message is received   
• Optimization of Partial scene power consumption
