A day after confirming that the Realme 5s will come with a waterdrop-style notch and 5,000mAh battery, Realme has confirmed that the phone in question will come with a 6.51-inch HD+ display – like the Realme 5. Realme will launch the Realme 5s in India on November 20. It is supposed to be Realme’s answer to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.

Realme 5s confirmed specs and features

With the latest reveal, we now know that the Realme 5s will have the same design as the Realme 5 with waterdrop-style notch, the same 6.51-inch HD+ display, and the same 5,000mAh battery. Realme has also confirmed that the Realme 5s will come in red and blue at least. It will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, again, like the Realme 5.

It will also come with a quad rear camera setup like the Realme 5, but it will pack a different primary sensor. Unlike the Realme 5 that comes with a 12MP main camera, the Realme 5s will bump things up to a 48MP – like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8.

There’s a slight chance the Realme 5s could be a tweaked Realme 5 with a 48MP main camera.

For some perspective, the Realme 5 has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, quad rear cameras consisting of a 12MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, 13MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Realme is gearing for a big launch event in India on November 20 where it will launch its high-end flagship Realme X2 Pro. But the Realme X2 Pro won’t be alone. The Realme 5s is also launching on the same day. Both the Realme X22 Pro and Realme 5s will be sold via Flipkart and Realme’s own online store. Both these phones should be available through offline channels as well.
