Oppo spin-off brand Realme is set to enter China – after leaving quite an impression on the Indian market. Realme is kicking off proceedings with the Realme X – a phone that also purportedly featured in a Realme theme song recently. The biggest takeaway from the teaser video was the mystery phone’s pop-up or elevating selfie camera – a first for Realme. Something on the lines of the Vivo V15 Pro and Oppo F11 Pro.

Realme has now confirmed that it will launch the Realme X in China on May 15. The Realme X is supposedly the same phone which was recently spotted on TENAA with the model number RMX1901 having an all-screen and no-notch design. Rumoured specs of the Realme X include a 6.5-inch OLED display with in-screen fingerprint scanner, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM, and a 3,680mAh battery with support for Oppo’s VOOC 3.0 flash charge. The Realme X will reportedly also come with a 48MP primary rear camera and a 5MP secondary camera for portrait photography.

The Realme X has also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website suggesting that Realme may launch the phone in India soon enough.

The Realme X will be accompanied by the Realme X Youth Edition or Realme X Lite – a phone that is said to be a rehashed Realme 3 Pro designed for the Chinese market.

Realme has launched the Realme 3 Pro in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, going all the way to Rs 16,999 for the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For the price you get a 6.3-inch 1080p+ IPS LCD display with a teardrop/waterdrop-style notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is expandable, and a sizeable 4,045mAh battery with a segment first VOOC 3.0 flash charge.

The Realme 3 Pro has a dual rear camera system on the rear consisting of a 16MP (Sony IMX 519) sensor with f/1.7 aperture and another 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Realme 3 Pro comes with a 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
