Oppo spin-off Realme isn’t waiting until D-day to reveal most of the interesting details about its first high-end flagship, aka the Realme X2 Pro. The phone is supposed to launch in China on October 15 and it is set to arrive in India sometime in Deccember, but we already know so much about it – the launch seems more like a formality now to reveal the price. In line with the trend, Realme has confirmed two more key aspects of the Realme X2 Pro – that it will ship with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
Realme X2 Pro confirmed specs
Realme has already confirmed that the Realme X2 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and it will have a 90Hz display like the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. This will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, according to the fresh reveal. Realme has also confirmed that the Realme X2 Pro will come with a 64MP quad rear camera setup with a dedicated telephoto camera for 20x zoom and support for 50W fast charging. Lastly, the Realme X2 Pro will also come with dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos out-of-the-box.
Even though the Realme X2 Pro may seem like a gradual step up to the recently launched Realme X2, by the looks of oit, it’s heading to be a huge step up in more ways than one. Going by how Realme likes to price its products, chances are we’re looking at a value flagship here like the Redmi K20 Pro or the Asus 6Z or even the OnePlus 7T although Realme has indirectly confirmed that the 90Hz display toting Realme X2 Pro should be more affordable than OnePlus’ new phone.
Realme has also confirmed the design of the Realme X2 Pro which is also set to get an all-glass treatment like the Realme XT/Realme X2. The phone will come in blue at least, and it will come with a centrally aligned quad camera setup on the back. On the front, the phone will come with a waterdrop-style notch and there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
