Realme XT now available on open sale but only for limited period 

The Realme XT, a capable mid-ranger with a 64MP main camera, is now available for buying in India via open sale model – this means, potential buyers will be able to buy the Realme XT round the clock now. The open sale will be a limited period affair though. The Realme XT will be available on open sale during Flipkart Big Billion Days sale and Realme Festive Days sale until October 4. There’s no clarity if Realme will revert to a flash sale model post October 4. 

Realme XT specs and features

The Realme XT is a lower mid-tier phone which packs a Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM, and 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It’s main USP though is its 64MP quad camera setup – the Realme XT was the first smartphone in India with a 64MP camera. It has since been followed by the Samsung Galaxy A70s and very soon Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India with the same 64MP main camera. 

Speaking of specs, the Realme XT has a 6.4-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Realme XT also ditches a conventional fingerprint scanner for an optical in-display solution. Under the hood, the Realme XT has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The dual SIM phone packs a 4,000mAh battery and supports Oppo’s VOOC 3.0 flash charge. 

On to the cameras, the Realme XT has a four-camera setup on the rear – consisting of a 64MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 119-degree field-of-view, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The main camera uses Samsung’s 64MP GW1 sensor. On the front, the Realme XT has a 16MP camera. 

While the 4GB/64GB variant of the Realme XT costs Rs 15,999, the 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants sell for Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively.
