The Redmi 6, released in June 2018, already had an affordable sub Rs 9000 price tag. Now, as part of a custom Mi Super Sale that takes from 27 May to 31 May, the Redmi 6 can be purchased at a price less than Rs 7500; at Rs 7499 to be exact.

The Redmi 6 is a mid-range smartphone, designated for those buyers seeking to buy their first smartphone without having to invest at least ten grands on a feature-filled device. The Mi Super Sale is currently live and kicking on the official Mi portal. You could navigate there and check out buying the smartphone.

The Redmi 6 comes with key technical specifications such as:

  • 5.45-inch display having resolutions of 720 x 1440 pixels; with approximately 295 ppi pixel density
  • Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system; with eligibility to receive Android 9.0 (Pie)
  • 2 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 SoC
