It seems like there would be a Motorola-Samsung smartphone coalition with the latter’s processor within future handsets developed by the former. These phones are now rumoured to be driven by a Samsung Exynos 7 Series 9610 SoC.
As per a 91Mobiles report, that quotes internal sources, the purported Motorola smartphones with the Samsung Exynos 7 Series 9610 processor could also run on Google’s Android One platform that promises the newest version of Google’s Android as an operating system (OS) update.
At this juncture, neither Motorola nor Samsung is yet to issue official updates regarding incorporation of Exynos 7 Series 9610 SoCs within a future Motorola smartphone variant. However, USP of this rumour is the fact that there could be an entirely new generation of smartphones and smartphone internals catering to a new generation of millennials and professionals.
In related updates, Samsung is hugely expected by consumer technology loyalists irrespective of brand loyalty to showcase officially the next-gen successor to the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus smartphones. These purported handsets could be called the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy 10 Plus having multiple variants. Rumour mills are also on overdrive with respect to anticipating the launch of a 5G-compatible edition of the purported Galaxy S10 smartphones.
It is also known that the South Korea-based company has an Unpacked event lined up for February 20 in San Francisco; this event has undoubtedly turned out as the cynosure of eyes even before its kickoff. Hence, Samsung could have multiple things in store as far as its futuristic lineup of smartphones is concerned. In this regard, the company could just about manage to pull up some tricks from within through a collaboration with Motorola. Loyalists could keep their fingers crossed at this juncture.
