Samsung Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30s likely to launch in India on Sep 11

The Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s are mid-cycle refresh of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 boasting of a new colorful design and slightly better hardware.

Samsung is set to launch an ‘evolved’ new lot of Galaxy A phones in India on September 11. The South Korean major has started teasing the launch on social media and even though it does not mention the devices, it is highly likely that we’re looking at the Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s – both of which broke cover in select markets last month. 

The Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s are mid-cycle refresh of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 boasting of a new colorful design and slightly better hardware.

The Galaxy A50s has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-U notch and 1080p+ resolution. The phone is powered by an Exynos 9610 paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing with 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. The Galaxy A50s further comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A50s comes with a 32MP camera. 

The Galaxy A30s has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-V notch and 720p+ resolution. The phone is powered by an Exynos 7904 paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing with 15W fast charging through USB Type-C - same as the Galaxy A50s. The Galaxy A30s further comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 25MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A30s comes with a 16MP camera. 

Samsung is also gearing to launch the Galaxy M30s phone in India on September 18. We already know that the Galaxy M30s will come with a massive 6,000mAh and an Infinity-U notch atop a Super AMOLED display panel. On the back there will be triple cameras and a physical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. By the looks of it, the Galaxy M30s is all set to become the first affordable M-series phone to come with a 48MP main camera.
