Samsung Galaxy A60, Galaxy A40s launched with 6GB RAM, triple rear cameras

Samsung has launched two new Galaxy A-series phones, aka the Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A40s, in China. While the Galaxy A60 boasts of punch-hole design (Infinity-O), the Galaxy A40s has a waterdrop-style notch (Infinity-U). Both the phones come with 6GB RAM, triple rear cameras and big batteries with fast charging support. 

The Galaxy A60 comes with a 6.3-inch 1080p+ LCD Infinity-O display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The triple cam setup on-board the Galaxy A60 uses a 32MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait photography. On the front, the Galaxy A60 comes with a 32MP camera. 

The Galaxy A40s meanwhile comes with a 6.4-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and is powered by an Exynos 7904 processor with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. The triple cam setup on-board the Galaxy A40s uses a 13MP main camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait photography. On the front, the Galaxy A40s comes with a 16MP camera. 

While the Galaxy A60 starts at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,500), the Galaxy A40s starts at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 15,500). Both the phones are exclusive to China for now, and there's no word when Samsung will launch them globally including in India. 

In other news, Samsung launched the Galaxy A70 in India on Wednesday at a price of Rs 28,990. The Galaxy A70 has a 6.7-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A70 has a triple cam setup consisting of a 32MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait photography. On the front, the Galaxy A70 comes with a 32MP camera.
