We know that Samsung is working on a slew of Galaxy A phones for India (and China). Samsung only recently launched the Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A10 in India, and already we have started to hear about its next Galaxy A phone – the alleged Galaxy A60. According to a new report, the Galaxy A60 will be a beefier version of the Galaxy A50, so chances are that it may also come at a slightly higher price tag.

The Galaxy A50, for some perspective, is available in two configurations – 4GB RAM/64GB storage for Rs 19,990 and 6GB RAM/64GB storage for Rs 22,990.

The Samsung Galaxy A60 will reportedly retain Samsung’s new ‘3D glasstic’ design scheme but it will come with a larger 6.7-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-U notch. The phone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6150 processor with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM – storage is said to be 128GB. It is further said to come with a 4,500mAh battery.

The Galaxy A60 will reportedly come with three rear cameras – a 32MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 5MP sensor possibly for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Galaxy A60 is said to come with a 32MP camera.

The software inside should be Android 9 Pie-based One UI, like how it is in the Galaxy A50. Like the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A60 is also said to come with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Samsung has confirmed that it will launch at least one new Galaxy A phone in India in the days to come – there could be more than one device as well if the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 India launch is anything to go by. The Galaxy A60, being the next in numbering as far as naming goes, could be its next launch – with a March-end, early-April launch window. Samsung is meanwhile also said to be simultaneously working on the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A40.
