Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), also known as the world’s first quad-camera smartphone is launching in India on 20th November. There has been a lot of excitement about Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) in the air and for valid reasons.

This one happens to be the world’s first smartphone to feature a quad-camera setup on the rear. So, flipping the phone will expose you to not two or three but four cameras! We have seen phones that featured three cameras in the past. For example, Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018).

The main attraction, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) houses a 24MP main shooter with f/1.7 aperture. The unit has ample room for a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom. It further gets an 8MP 120-degree ultra wide angle camera with f/2.4 aperture. And it will have a dedicated 5MP depth camera for bokeh effect.

Flipkart has put a teaser page up on their website announcing that Samsung's new handset will be available to purchase online Exclusively on the e-commerce site. The teaser further goes on to reveal other key features and specifications of the handset.

Specs-wise, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) sports a 6.3-inch 1080p Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity screen. Powering the phones in an octa-core processor and 6GB of RAM. Another variant with 8GB RAM will be available in select markets. It offers 128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using microSD.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) packs a 3,800mAh battery with fast-charging support. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
