Samsung Galaxy M smartphones could be round the corner, and the notable aspect here is that these phones could form a series of their own to be launched during the early part of 2019. This means that the new Samsung phones would have the moniker “M” after their galaxy nomenclature, just like the “S” moniker in the Galaxy S series that is in existence currently.
Now, as per a SamMobile report, that quotes IANS, there could be three Galaxy M smartphones in India and these reports also hint at multiple functionality which could lead to these smartphone standing out; but the exact specifics of these functionality have not surfaced at this juncture.
Even the key technical specifications of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy M smartphones are yet to surface; but, various rumour mills are rife about these handsets being driven by the Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating platform; out of the box. These rumour mills also throw hints at the Galaxy M falling into the budget smartphones category.
