Samsung is gearing to globally announce its all-new Galaxy M-series in India on January 28. One of the devices in the Galaxy M-series, the Galaxy M10, has leaked in full ahead of launch giving a good look at what could be in store. The Galaxy M10 will be priced below Rs 10,000 and the leaked spec-sheet also confirms the phone’s entry-level credentials.

Based on the leak, it appears that the Galaxy M10 will come with a plastic body – in a range of colours including blue – and no fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The Galaxy M10 will be one of the most affordable phones to rock Samsung’s new Infinity-V notch display. The screen size is said to be 6.2-inch and the screen resolution will reportedly max at 720p+. The phone in question is further said to come with an Exynos 7872 processor and will be offered in two RAM options: 2GB and 3GB. Battery capacity is said to be 3,400mAh and the phone will reportedly charge through micro-USB.

The dual-SIM Galaxy M10 will reportedly run Android 8.1 Oreo software which means no One UI, at least to begin with. Samsung’s One UI is based on Android 9 Pie and is limited to the company’s top-end phones like the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 for now.

On to the cameras, the Galaxy M10 is said to sport a dual rear camera system consisting of one 13MP sensor and another 5MP sensor.

Amazon recently teasing Samsung’s upcoming India-first Galaxy M-series ahead of its January 28 launch. The notify-me page for the Samsung Galaxy M-series, which is now live on Amazon India, drops major Easter eggs in relation to key hardware specs of the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 phones. A third device in the series, called the Galaxy M30, will come later.

Now, if we take the Galaxy M10 leak into consideration, the Galaxy M20 will possibly come with a 1080p+ display, a larger battery – to the tune of 5,000mAh – and fast charging via USB Type-C. The notify-me page also confirms presence of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy M-series phones which means the heftier Galaxy M20 should get one.

The Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 will be sold exclusively via online channels like Amazon India and Samsung’s own e-retail store. Prices will range from just under Rs 10,000 for the entry-level Galaxy M10 model while the Galaxy M20 is expected to cost under Rs 20,000.
