Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 are now available for buying in India. The Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 are online-exclusive phones which means they will be available for buying from online sales channels only. You can now purchase the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 from Amazon India and Samsung e-shop. Price starts at Rs 7,990 for the Galaxy M10 while the Galaxy M20 starts at Rs 11,990.
Both Amazon India and Samsung e-shop are offering launch day offers to tag along with the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. This includes a total damage protection plan worth an additional Rs 699 and Rs 1,199 for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 (available on Amazon India) and Jio Galaxy club offer that is said to offer date benefits worth Rs 3,110 on bundling a recharge pack of Rs 198 and Rs 299 (available on Amazon India and Samsung e-shop) respectively. The Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 will also be available with no cost EMI for a duration of 6 months.
The Galaxy M20 comes with a 6.3-inch Infinity-V TFT LCD display with a 1080p+ resolution while the Galaxy M10 has a smaller 6.2-inch screen with a 720p+ resolution. The Galaxy M20 is powered by a 1.8Ghz octa-core Exynos 7904 processor with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is also expandable via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The Galaxy M10 is meanwhile powered by a 1.6Ghz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with up to 3GB RAM and up to 32GB storage, again expandable via a dedicated card slot.
While the Galaxy M20 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, the Galaxy M10 uses a smaller 3,400mAh battery (with no fast charging). Both the phones run Android 8.1 Oreo-based Samsung Experience 9.5 UI. Samsung is expected to roll out Android Pie update for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 sometime in August.
Both the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 come with dual rear cameras of similar resolution (but with different sensors) -- a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy M20 further comes with an 8MP front camera, while the Galaxy M10 has a 5MP selfie camera.
In terms of design, both the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 come with all-plastic body with a glossy finish. The Galaxy M20 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner but the Galaxy M10 does not (it has face unlock).
The Galaxy M10 starts at Rs 7,990 for the base 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant, going all the way to Rs 8,990 for the top-end variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The Galaxy M20 starts at Rs 10,990 for the base 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, going all the way to Rs 12,990 for the top-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both the phones are available in two colours, charcoal black and ocean blue.
