South Korean giant Samsung is all set to announce their all-new Galaxy M-series. It's been quite some time since we are hearing about the company's plans to get into India's affordable and mid-range smartphones segment, presumably to take on the likes of Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Realme and Honor.

Samsung Galaxy M-series launch in India: How to watch the livestream

Samsung is hosting a soft launch of Samsung M-series launch in India today at 6PM IST. As always, Samsung will broadcast the event live by the means of their digital channels including YouTube. The livestream of the event can also be found on Samsung's official website.

Samsung Galaxy M10, M20: What we know so far

Initially, Samsung Galaxy M-series will be comprised of three phones: Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30. Today, Samsung only announce the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. The Galaxy M30 will come later. Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 will run Android Oreo out-of-the-box and will receive the Android Pie update sometime in August.

According to reports, Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 will start at Rs 7,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively. Samsung Galaxy M10 is tipped to feature Exynos 7872 chip, 2GB or 3GB RAM RAM options and 3,500mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M20, on the other hand, is said to carry a bigger 5,000mAh battery.
