If you are an avid smartphone camera analyst preferring to use your handsets for capturing images, then latest DXOMark tests have placed the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on par with the Google Pixel 3 with respect to scores assigned.

As per new DXoMark tests, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 premium smartphone notched up a score of 92, whilst Google Pixel 3 also achieved a total score of 92. This potentially indicates that the camera quality (both front and rear) could be on par with equal standards as far as capturing images/photos is concerned.

Hence, you could even check if you would use the above DXOMark results as a parameter for smartphone purchases as well. At this juncture, it is worth noting that both the Galaxy Note 9 and Pixel 3 are high-end smartphones. The other smartphones having notched up reportedly “standard” scores in the DXOMark test were the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. and the Mi Mix 3.
