The Galaxy S10e is a flagship phone at a flagship killer price. Samsung just made it even more exciting. The Galaxy S10e, which was launched in India at a price of Rs 55,900, can now be purchased for as low as Rs 46,900 – making it the best compact flagship to buy in the market right now. The new effective price of Rs 46,900, in fact, brings the Galaxy S10e in OnePlus territory.

Here’s an excerpt from my full review of the Samsung Galaxy S10e:

“The Galaxy S10e is a phone destined to give the upcoming OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro a tough fight – OnePlus should be nervous.”

Looks like, Samsung is indeed taking the fight to OnePlus, with the Galaxy S10e.

But conditions apply. The Galaxy S10e isn’t getting a price cut – it's too early for that to happen since the phone was launched in March. For an undisclosed period, Samsung will be offering an instant cashback of Rs 5,000 on the purchase of the Galaxy S10e (cashback auto applies at checkout) which brings the price of the phone down to Rs 50,900. Samsung will be also offering an additional cashback of Rs 4,000 if the purchase is made using HDFC debit or credit card (using no extra cost EMI or low-cost EMI) - this applies on purchases made up to April 30, 2019. This brings the price of the phone further down to Rs 46,900.

The Galaxy S10e is available in Prism Black and Prism White with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The best part about the Galaxy S10e is that even though it is the most affordable of Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 lot, it does not skimp down on specs.

It has the same glass and metal design with a near edge-to-edge screen courtesy Samsung’s new punch-hole Infinity-O display – as the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. The processor inside it is also the same – which is Samsung’s own Exynos 9820 (in India). So is the software, which is Android 9 Pie-based One UI.

The Galaxy S10e also packs the same dual aperture primary rear camera and 10MP primary front camera with support for 4K video recording. Fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are also standard, so is Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, IP68-certification and micro-SD expansion. The Galaxy S10e keeps the headphone jack too – again, same as the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.
