Samsung Galaxy S9 Users Report Issues After Updation To Android Pie

Some Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphone users having updated to the Google Android 9.0 (Pie) through the recent software update have stated that their phones experienced battery drain even during general usage.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphone users having updated to the Google Android 9.0 (Pie) through the recent software update; a community of these users have now reported that their handsets functioned not as expected after updating to the newer firmware.

Various Galaxy S9 users have taken to Reddit to state that upon updating to the newer Android Pie firmware, the battery drained rapidly and not as expected. A cross-section of the Galaxy S9 community have also expressed disappointment over the fact that they could observe very quick battery drain even during general usage. Also, a SamMobile report adds substance to the user reports about these potential ‘issue’.

At this instant, Samsung is yet to widely rollout the Android Pie to Galaxy S9 users (spread out across continents and countries).
