We already know that Samsung is prepping an affordable Galaxy S10 called Galaxy S10E to take on Apple’s iPhone XR. Not only will the Galaxy S10E cost less than its more premium siblings it will also be available in a slew of attractive colours, like how things are with the iPhone XR. While blue, black and green will be the flavour of the Galaxy S10 town, the Galaxy S10E will additionally be available in Canary Yellow. The vanilla Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will not come in yellow.

Renders of the alleged Canary Yellow Galaxy S10E have leaked online for the first time giving a first-hand look of what could be in store from Samsung. The iPhone XR also comes in yellow, but Apple uses this subtle cutesy hue that doesn’t really jump at you like say its RED variant. Samsung’s canary yellow however seems more out-there, fluorescent neon to an extent, the kind that would be hard to ignore. The outer frame seems to have this golden tinge inspired from the iPhone XR. Samsung is also probably giving it a matte finish like Apple.

That said, since Samsung is yet to make the Canary Yellow Galaxy S10E official, we suggest you take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.

The Galaxy S10E is expected to pack the same core innards as the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, the same Exynos and Qualcomm chips and possibly the same primary rear and front cameras. It will reportedly come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and will also retain Samsung’s new Infinity-O notch display.

It is said to come with a smaller 5.8-inch screen with a flatter bezel. In the Galaxy S10E, the power button on the side will reportedly double as a fingerprint scanner, unlike the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ which will reportedly come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the Galaxy S10E is said to come with dual rear cameras and will be powered by a 3,100mAh battery.
