Days after launching the entry-level U10, Vivo seems to be gearing to launch another affordable phone – this time in China though. The phone in question does not have a name yet, but Vivo has confirmed a couple of key aspects as well as its design ahead of an imminent launch. The biggest takeaway is the fact that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor – the same processor that drives the company’s mid-range phones like the V17 Pro.

Rest of the deal seems to be a budget affair. This one will come with triple rear cameras though which is a nice touch, but not surprising since the U10 also comes with three rear cameras. The phone will come with a glossy gradient back which should be plastic, and it will charge over microUSB. The rear will also boast of a fingerprint scanner – so no in-display solution like in the V17 Pro. The front of the phone remains a mystery for now.

The recently launched Vivo U10 comes with a 6.35-inch HD+ or 720p+ display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is also expandable. On to the cameras, the U10 comes with three rear cameras – a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth camera for portrait photography. On the front, the U10 comes with an 8MP camera.

The main USP of the U10 is its sizeable 5,000mAh battery which is claimed to offer up to 7 hours of PUBG playback on single charge. The phone also supports 18W fast charging which is claimed to offer up to 4.5 hours of talk time on a 10-minute charge.

Speaking of design, the U10 has a plastic exterior – a plastic glossy one like the one seen in Vivo’s other budget phones like the S1 and Z1 Pro. The phone is available in two colours – electric blue and thunder black.

The Vivo U10 starts at Rs 8,599 for the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage going all the way to Rs 10,990 for the top-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The U10 is also be available in 3GB/64GB configuration for Rs 9,990.
