Vivo is seemingly not keeping the X27 a closely guarded secret anymore. The X27, that has already received the customary leak treatment courtesy a TENAA listing, will officially be launched in China in March 19. Now Vivo has confirmed a few key specs of the phone in question.

The X27 will indeed ship with a 48MP primary rear camera. It will come with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It will further pack a sizeable 4,000mAh battery.

The X27 is said to be an updated version of the V15 Pro that Vivo launched in India recently. The X27 is said to come with the same design which is said to include the pop-up selfie camera as well. This pop-up selfie camera is said to have a 16MP sensor. On the back, it is said to pack three cameras – a 48MP sensor (possibly the Samsung GM1 like in the V10 Pro), a 13MP wide-angle sensor and a 5MP sensor for depth sensing.

The Vivo X27 will be available in two processor variants – one will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 while the other will come with a Snapdragon 675. Only one of these variants will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner while the other will have a conventional fingerprint scanner.

Vivo launched the V15 Pro at a price of Rs 28,990 – this brings a 6.4-inch 1080p+ AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 48MP+8MP+5MP rear camera system and a 32MP front-facing pop-up camera, and 3,700mAh battery with fast charging.

Vivo also has a slim-down version called the V15 that it will launch in India soon enough. It will come with toned-down specs in comparsion to the V15 Pro - which is seemingly a more premiere phone with a 48MP+8MP+5MP rear camera system and a 32MP pop-up camera on the front.

As for the X27, there is no word if Vivo will launch it outside of China anytime soon.
