Seems like Vivo is gearing up to unveil yet another smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera mechanism in China. A mysterious Vivo phone bearing the model number V1829T was recently spotted on a Chinese certification website TENAA. The smartphone in question could be branded as Vivo X27, as per some tweets.
If you take a closer look, the unconfirmed Vivo X27 bears striking resemblance to Vivo V15 Pro that was announced just recently. Reports say Vivo V15 Pro will be rebranded as Vivo X27 in China market. We are awaiting more information on that front.
For now, there seems to be enough evidence that Vivo's pop-up selfie camera is definitely sticking around for quite so long. In fact, OnePlus' upcoming flagship smartphone is also likely to have a pop-up selfie camera technology on the cards.
According to a TENAA listing, Vivo V1829T sports a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48MP sensor paired with a 13MP and a 5MP sensor. Internally, one can expect 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage under the hood and Android 9 Pie operating system.
Vivo users have been pretty much familiar with their pop-up selfie camera. Recently, we saw the one with Vivo V15 Pro. Powering Vivo's V15 Pro is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 processor and 6GB RAM. It packs 128GB of expandable storage and a 3,700mAh battery under the hood.
Vivo V15 Pro costs Rs 28,990 and comes in two colour options: Topaz Blue and Ruby Red. Vivo V15 Pro is up for grabs on Amazon and Vivo own online store.
Other specifications of Vivo V15 Pro include 6.3 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED. In terms of optics, it houses 48MP+8MP+5MP triple rear cameras. Up top, there's a 32MP pop-up camera for selfies and video calls.
Design-wise, Vivo V15 Pro measures 157.25mm x 74.71mm x 8.21mm in dimensions and weighs and 185g.
