Chinese smartphone maker Vivo today announced a new device in India called Vivo Y93. As for the main attractions, Vivo Y93 features a waterdrop notch design in addition to minimum bezels above and below the display. Design-wise, the handset boats of a gradient spraying on the rear. It weighs in at 163.5g and measures 8.3mm in thickness.
Vivo Y93 price in India is set for Rs 13,990. It is available in a single memory variant. Vivo Y93, however, goes on sale in multiple colour options: Starry Night and Nebula Purple.
To recall, Vivo Y93 was intially launched in China last month. As far as some of its main attractions is concerned, it sports an HD+ Halo FullView display. It also bundles some of Vivo’s signature features like the Jovi Smart Screen and Smart Split.
Specs-wise, Vivo Y93 sports 1,580 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution stretched across a 6.2-inch Halo Full View display, packing in 280 pixels into every inch. Powering Vivo Y93 in India is a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor, as opposed to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor in China.
Inside is 4GB RAM in addition to 32GB of internal storage unlike 64GB with its Chinese counterpart, which is further expandable up to microSD card. As for the shutterbugs, Vivo Y93 features 13MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) dual rear cameras. Up front is an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The standard set of connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, OTG and FM radio. Set of supported sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope and a proximity sensor. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Vivo Y93 packs a 4,030mAh battery under the hood.
