The Vodafone prepaid recharges of Rs 209 and Rs 479 have now been revised to offer additional LTE data. As of now, it is worth noting that the Rs 209 has a validity of 28 days while the Rs 479 plan is valid for 84 days.

At this point in time, both the Rs 479 and Rs 209 recharge packs have been updated at Vodafone’s official recharge portal; these now contain details about the additional data offering - 1.6GB per day. You could also additionally check out MyVodafone app to avail these recharge scheme in case you are desirous.

For starters, the Vodafone Rs 209 recharge scheme offers free-unlimited calls (even when on roaming), along with 1.6GB 4G data, with 100 text messages allowed for free per day. Validity of this package is 28 days.

On the other hand, the Rs 479 plan valid for 84 days also comes with an identical 1.6GB LTE data per day, along with offering free-unlimited calls (even while roaming in India) with 100 free text messages.

Now, USP of these unlimited packs is definitely the fact that consumers would not have to recharge separately for both voice and data. These, when combined with long validity packs are a seeming trend considering the fact that prepaid subscribers (across telcos) are saved from monthly recharge hassles that are now almost a mandate, with telcos, for prepaid subscribers to keep their numbers active and running.

Here, a category of people have also expressed insights about these combo offers with long validity being launched to combat Reliance Jio’s offerings that usually require people to make a one-time payment and experience both voice and data without having to recharge separately time and again. Nonetheless, long validity plans are the sure thing forward if more number of people should be empowered to adapt the “Digital Revolution”. This could also boost the already upcoming feature phone trends that are seeing even 4G-compatible handsets being preferred by buyers in India.
