Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Receiving Global Beta MIUI 10 OS Update, Introduces Android 9.0 (Pie)

It now seems like the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro mid-range smartphone is getting the all important Android 9.0 (Pie)-based MIUI 10 firmware update. This update is apparently the global beta and should now be available for download; the firmware can also be flashed based on users’ technical knowhow.

As per XDA developers forum, the MIUI 10 beta now live for the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro could be flashed via the TWRP with the unlocked bootloader. Also, users of the Mi 8 Pro, upon upgrading to MIUI 10, could potentially come across bugs; hence, do raise these so that the stable public releases come relatively bug free.

At this instant, it is worth noting that users of the Xiaomi Poco F1 aka Pocofone F1 were seeded a stable version of MIUI 10.1 (Android Pie) operating system.
