Xiaomi Mi Soundbar at Rs 4999 Now Official, Offers Bluetooth 4.2 Connectivity

The Xiaomi Mi Soundbar customized unit is now official in India and the price is a relatively affordable Rs 4999. The unit would go up for buying from January 16 starting from 12 PM IST.

As far as the Mi Soundbar is concerned, the key technical specifications of the unit are:

• 2.5-inch 65-mm bass units, along with two 36 mm dome treble units, and four 70x55mm passive radiator units
• The Mi Soundbar weighs in at 1.925kg
• Bluetooth 4.2 support
• Frequency response range is between 50 Hz to 25000 Hz
• 6 Ohms impedance
• SPDIF Cable included with assembly

The Mi Soundbar would be available for purchase from the official Mi Store, the online Mi portal, and Mi Home Stores.

In related Xiaomi news, the entry-level Redmi 6A priced at Rs 5999 is now reportedly the best-selling handset from the time of its launch in September 2018. This data is as per an IDC report that published the November 2018 issue of its Monthly Smartphone Tracker. For the uninitiated, it is worth understanding that the Redmi 6A is an entry-level smartphone that could be purchased without buyers having to shell out a chunk (or all) of their hard earned savings.

The Redmi 6A also recently went up for open sale (on January 12); as of now, the phone is available to buy at the official Mi eStore, Amazon, and Mi Homes. The Redmi 6A provides key technical features such as:
