Xiaomi MIUI 11 comes to fore, offers quick file share and more

Xiaomi has finally unwrapped the MIUI 11 that introduces an enhanced look and feel. There is also the new font called the “Milan Pro”. But, USP of the MIUI 11 is its plethora of Office features such as the quick file transfer, 1 tap projection, and the Mi Go. These functionalities are custom-made for increasing productivity whilst leading to a potential power-saving mode.

As of now, the MIUI 11 is available in China as a closed beta. It is said to be made available to global devices soon. Chinese users could check out the MIUI 11 closed beta via the WeChat application (app). The MIUI 11 stable ROM would be rolled out to eligible devices from October this year. The MIUI rollout would start from China, and cover devices such as the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Mi 9 SE, Mi Mix 3, and the Redmi k20 among others. Finally, reports have also been pegging the MIUI 11 to offer a customized Family Sharing option to track app usage times whilst getting to obtain location-related details of a particular member in a family.  

The Mi Smart Water Purifier

In related Xiaomi news, the Mi Smart Water Purifier that has gone live in India would be available for purchase for the first time ever from 29 September. This water purifier is priced at Rs 12000. This would be an online sale and only the White outer colour variant of the water purifier would be offered for purchase. Like its Chinese counterpart, the Mi Smart Water Purifier in India also features the RO+ UV protection functionality.
