Even though Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand has revealed so much about the upcoming Redmi K20 flagship already, there’s still a lot of mystery around the phone in question. This is especially true about its different variants. This is because Redmi is said to be working on not one, but two different variants of the Redmi K20 – and all teasers being passed on by Redmi speak explicitly about one big true-blue Redmi K20 flagship.

A seemingly official promo poster of the purported higher-end variant, aka the Redmi K20 Pro, has leaked online ahead of Redmi’s scheduled May 28 launch event. The Redmi K20 Pro, which has been part of rumor mills for some time now, and which could launch as the Poco F2 in India, will apparently have as many as three configurations - 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. While the base variant of the Redmi K20 Pro with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is said to cost RMB 2,599 (roughly Rs 26,000), the top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is said to cost RMB 2,999 (roughly Rs 30,000). The variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is meanwhile said to cost RMB 2,799 (roughly Rs 28,000).

The promo poster also re-confirms some key features including Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 48MP main camera and 4,000mAh battery.

Rumor has it that the non-Pro variant of the Redmi K20 may not come with a Snapdragon 855 – instead, it may ship with a Snapdragon 710. Rest of the specifications are said to remain the same though.

Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain has already shared the first official ‘real’ picture of the Redmi K20 – showing off the phone’s back panel in all its glory.

Moreover, Redmi has also confirmed a few other key features of the Redmi K20/K20 Pro including a seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint scanner, an AMOLED screen with DC dimming, gaming optimizations and Game Turbo 2.0, and two-day battery life.

Redmi is gearing to launch the Redmi K20 (and quite possibly the Redmi K20 Pro as well) in China on May 28 – the Redmi K20 is scheduled to arrive in India soon after.
