Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram down for some users: Here's what Facebook has to say

Facebook family of apps including WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger are not working for some users since around 4 PM IST. Social networking giant, in its statement, has finally acknowledged the problem. Facebook also said they are already working on fixing the issue.

"We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible,” Facebook spokesperson told Republic World.

Facebook's platform status dashboard is not updated since the last time Facebook suffered the worst outage in history which lasted for more than 24 hours. More details are awaited as to what caused this outage.

According to WAbetainfo, the service has been restored and Facebook family of apps should work for those who were previously affected by the outage.
