The Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram issue now seems to have been resolved. These latest outages were reported by users, on 3 July, to which Facebook had earlier stated that it was aware of the issue and working on releasing a quick fix. This fix has seemingly come to fruition now as we are now able to access WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram without any glitches.
As soon as news regarding the Facebook – Instagram-WhatsApp outage made headlines on social media, these were termed as “global issues” with users even reporting difficulty in downloading/uploading images through WhatsApp. This got netizens worked up a bit:

Not the first outage of late
The above has not been the only Facebook outage in recent times, the latest one’s severity was such that as soon as it hit Instagram, users numbering in excess of 50,000 (Instagram) reportedly experienced issues. In March this year, Facebook experienced a glitch that resulted in global outage for nearly 14 hours.
