Not only in games, but region-wise as well, the region that tweeted the maximum about games in 2018 was Japan; the United States of America came in the second spot followed by the United Kingdom, and France.

The above TwitterGaming listing has been prepared with the help of Twitterati as they were told to share insights on what they thought were effective games of 2018.

“Fans of gaming around the globe came to Twitter throughout the year to discuss the most anticipated game titles, cheer on their favourite esports teams, and to join a community of passionate, like-minded fanatics all year long,” stated folks at Twitter, in an official blog post.

As far as game events are concerned, E3 2018 came in first, with The Game Awards 2018 placed in the third position with respect to tweets generated as a result of interest among enthusiasts. The Tokyo Game Awards 2018 was in the second position in this listing. Here, it is also worth noting that Gamescom 2018 also generated significant interest among gamers and the title reached the eighth position in Twitter's list.
