#NewTrafficRules is now a top Twitter trend as netizens (Twitterati) have been coming up with hilarious reactions on the amended Motor Vehicles Act that imposes steeper penalties for traffic violations across India. This new trend is seemingly a continuation of the top Twitter trends which caught netizens’ eyes by storm after being created by netizens themselves. A section of Twitterati has been really happy with the huge penalties for traffic violations. Then, there is another cross-section of Twitterati that is contented with social media jokes. On which side are you. Check out below multiple hilarious reactions from Twitterati, on the new traffic rules which are already in effect. Now, the #NewTrafficRules has risen rapidly with Twitterati continuously tweeting about the topic on the micro-blogging site. A notable penalty introduced by the new traffic rules is the imprisonment for between three-four months along with a fine if found riding without vehicle insurance. Then, there is also a Rs 1000 fine for riding without a helmet.
