Twttr Prototype App Makes Rapid Strides Over The Actual Twitter, Gets Both Users And Technical Folks Excited

The Twttr prototype app, when launched in a full version format, could prove to be more popular than the actual Twitter application itself. This is because the response to the beta version of Twitter that was launched recently to participants having registered to test out Twitter prototypes, has reportedly turned out to be positive, with testers said to be preferring the experimental app more than the Twitter app that is currently in existence.

Now, this development was reported by Sara Haider who is Director of Product Management at the micro-blogging site who stated that the initial response, by the first set of initial testers having participated in the custom survey, caused excitements among the Twitter technical folks. This could be potentially due to excited Twttr users, causing excitements to the product guys at Twitter.

The positive developments, by the surveyors of Twttr, was also reportedly uniform throughout the regions surveyed. Check out Haider’s excited response below:

Finally, there could be more changes in the pipeline as Haider has also confirmed that her team has been involved in taking prototype participants’ feedback and implementing modifications. “Expect an update very soon!” added Haider.

In other Twitter-related updates, for the uninitiated, it is worth noting that you could now follow only 400 accounts/groups on Twitter as opposed to the earlier 1000.

“Follow, unfollow, follow, unfollow. Who does that? Spammers. So we’re changing the number of accounts you can follow each day from 1,000 to 400. Don’t worry, you’ll be just fine,” stated Twitter in an official tweet.
