Baba Siddique Murder: 3 More Arrested From Pune, 14 Held So Far

The investigation into the high-profile murder of senior NCP leader Baba Siddique has intensified, with police arresting three more suspects from Pune, bringing the total arrests to 14. The newly arrested individuals—Rupesh Rajendra Mohol (22), Karan Rahul Salve (19), and Shivam Arvind Kohad (20)—are all Pune residents. Additionally, a crucial suspect, Amit Hisamsing Kumar (29) from Haryana , was apprehended, believed to be a key link in the conspiracy. Investigators suspect Kumar facilitated coordination between the arrested shooter, Gurmail Singh, and the alleged mastermind, Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar, who is still on the run. Police sources have revealed that financial transactions between Kumar and other conspirators are also under scrutiny. Kumar, detained in Haryana, was transported to Mumbai and remanded in police custody until November 4. Authorities are now focusing efforts on tracking Akhtar, the common link between the shooters and plotters, as the investigation progresses.
