Mansa: Blast Near Petrol Pump, Owner Gets Threat Message

The Sirsa Road in Punjab ’s Mansa district was on Monday rocked by a massive mysterious explosion outside a petrol pump leading to a panic-like situation in the area. The blast caused severe damage to the surrounding areas near the spot, however, it resulted in no casualty. The entire incident of the explosion was captured on CCTV camera. The police have registered a case into the matter and a probe has been initiated to ascertain the cause of the explosion. According to sources, the petrol pump owner had been receiving threatening calls and a ransom demand of Rs 5 crore just a few days ago. The calls were reportedly made from foreign numbers, adding to the suspicion and concern.
