Viral Video: A shocking video of a group of men dancing, blasting loud music, and doing push-ups inside the Atal Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh has gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from netizens. The viral video, recorded by fellow travellers, shows the revellers treating the strategic tunnel as their personal party zone, much to the surprise of viewers.

In the video, a group of men can be seen dancing to loud music, while some of them even perform push-ups. The tunnel, which was built to connect Manali to the Lahaul-Spiti valley and is considered an engineering marvel, is seen filled with noise, energy, and chaos, far from its intended purpose as a vital infrastructure project.

Social Media Reacts

After the video was shared on X, people quickly voiced their opinions. Some mocked the situation, with one user saying, “Atal Tunnel—an engineering marvel! Who knew it would become a nightclub for ‘civilized’ people?”

Others were angry, calling for action. One person said, “Horrible! No wonder Indians are seen as a nuisance abroad. They don’t even respect their own country. Identify them and arrest them!”

Some pointed out that filming inside the Atal Tunnel is illegal, meaning both the revellers and the person who recorded the video broke the law.

However, most comments expressed concern about the lack of respect for public spaces and the tunnel's importance.

Authorities have yet to comment, but the incident has sparked calls for stricter rules in important infrastructure areas.

A Wake-Up Call for Public Responsibility

The incident has raised concerns about public responsibility in critical infrastructure areas like the Atal Tunnel. Tourists using such places to record reels or make videos put not only their safety at risk but also the integrity of vital national infrastructure.
