Viral News: Delhi's bustling Sadar Bazaar was recently targeted by a cunning gang called the "Khujli Gang" (Itch Gang).
Khujli Gang members employed a unique method of sprinkling itching powder on unsuspecting victims from behind. The agonising itch would distract the targeted person, causing them to drop their belongings and frantically scratch themselves in public.
This provided the perfect opportunity for other gang members to swoop in and steal the victim's valuables before disappearing into the crowd.
Delhi Police in Action Against Khujli Gang
Fortunately, the Khujli Gang's reign of terror was short-lived. Within two days of their activity being reported, the Delhi Police apprehended two members of the gang.
Delhi Police's quick action brought relief to the shopkeepers and shoppers in Sadar Bazaar.
Though short-lived, the Khujli Gang managed to create a sense of unease in Sadar Bazaar. Delhi Police advice people to stay vigilant in crowded areas and be aware of your surroundings.
According to the police, Be aware of your surroundings, especially in crowded places. If you suddenly experience intense itching, don't remove your clothes in public. Try to move to a safe space and discreetly check for any irritation.
Hold your belongings securely, and avoid keeping valuables in easily accessible places. Report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
The Delhi Police's smart action in nabbing the Khujli Gang members should deter similar crimes. However, staying vigilant and aware of your surroundings remains crucial for ensuring your safety in crowded marketplaces.
This is not the first incident that has appeared in public. A few days ago the Thak Thak Gang was active in Delhi, NCR and Noida that involved stealing electronic devices from parked cars after breaking windows, busted by UP Noida Police.
