Caught on Cam: Gujarat Couple Comes Face to Face with Lion

Viral News: A Gujarat couple experienced a terrifying situation in Gujarat's Somnath district. The couple who was seen on a bike came face to face with a lion in the Somnath district.

The incident reportedly occurred on October 6 near the Shri Ram Temple in Nawabandar village and was captured on CCTV footage, leaving the residents stunned.

As per reports, the couple was riding their bike around 11:00 pm when they noticed a giant creature in the middle of the road ahead.

The couple initially mistook it for a stray dog, however as they approached closer to the animal, they realized it was a lion.

The shocked duo abandoned their bike and ran to a safe place.

However, the big cat did not appear aggressive and followed them for a short period before losing interest.
The footage also shows a street dog fleeing the scene shortly after, likely spooked either by the lion’s presence or the couple’s sudden flight.

This is not the first time Lions have been spotted in Gujarat on the roads. Earlier this year, a pride of 14 lions, including lionesses and cubs, was caught on camera crossing a road in the Amreli district, near Gir National Park.
