‘Chappal Se Marungi’: Woman Hurls Abuses At Cab Driver, Video Goes Viral | WATCH

Viral News: In yet another instance of a heated exchange between passengers and cab drivers, a woman verbally abused a cabbie following a tense argument.

According to the video which has gone viral on social media platforms, a woman can be clearly seen threatening the driver over a dispute of which the reasons remain unclear.

While hurling abuses, the woman said that she would thrash the driver with shoes and slippers.  

“I will thrash you with chappals (slippers) in front of the police. I will thrash you with shoes. If I call someone, they will kill you right here. God knows from they come here…Ajaate hai UP Bihar se (They come from UP Bihar )," she can be heard saying.

Questioning the woman's behaviour the driver responded, “Why are you being disrespectful?”

To which the woman once more replied, “I will thrash you with shoes.”

Netizens React on Woman Abusing Driver

The social media user who shared the video criticized the woman's behavior towards the driver and questioned whether app-based cab services offer any protection to their drivers in such situations.

Another social media user called for the blacklisting of the woman from cab-based apps. 

“Just like driver can be blacklisted based on customer complaints then based on proofs, cab aggregators should ban such rogue customers from the platform then only such people will understand how their bad attitude can get them ban for using cab services,” social media user wrote. 

In a similar instance, a video of a heated argument between a passenger and a cab driver over a navigation disagreement in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media. The footage shows the cab driver refusing to take a right turn suggested by the passenger, citing traffic restrictions.

The cab had a woman passenger in the back seat. At the start of the video, the woman is heard saying, “Maine bas aapko bola ki aap right lo, aur aap chillane lage (I just asked you to take a right turn, and you started yelling).”

In response, the cab driver, while recording the video, clarified that he would take the right turn at the next available opportunity and drop her off at the location specified in the app.

Despite the woman repeatedly insisting that the driver take the main road immediately, the driver responded, "Aap ro rahi ho, mujhe problem kar dogi toh (You're crying, and this could cause trouble for me)."

Even after the driver's multiple attempts to explain the situation, the woman persisted, saying, "Aap bas main road par le lijiye (Just take the main road)."

She then accused the driver of misbehaving, saying, “Aap badtameezi kar rahe ho (You're being rude).”

As the argument intensified, the woman, tears in her eyes, tried to remove the driver's camera. When she was unsuccessful, she began recording the incident on her own phone.
